Ingredients:
1/2 lb of ground chicken or turkey
1 carrot (crushed in a food processor)
Hand full of spinach (crushed in a food processor)
A few springs of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
1 egg
Mix Well
Seasonings:
Garlic powder, oregano and salt & pepper. I also used “Taco Tuesday” seasoning from Flavor God (https://flavorgod.com). This is not necessary, you can use any seasoning.
How To:
Refrigerate for about 1 hour or so.
In a non stick skillet, I use an ice cream scooper to scoop small amounts (making little balls), about the same size as a McDonald’s chicken nugget and pan fry it.
To know when your nugget is fully cooked:
The internal temperature of ground chicken should be a minimum of 165 °F.
PS: This can be done with many different kinds of veggies — like zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, kale, Etc. You can also add other ingredients (like shredded cheese) or take away anything that you dislike. Have fun when you cook and be adventurous!
